Besides saying thanks for getting the site back up and online, I have a Q.

Even before now I've had a situation that has been 100% consistent.  When I log-in, I get an error message saying "Incorrect Log-in" or "Incorrect Password".  It gives me a prompt to re-enter the password, and then allows me to log-in.  I know the password used initially is correct...just curious about why it does this?

Are you using a password that automatically comes up when you first log-in?  Mine does this also, but it's because I put in the wrong password first, then, when my browser asked if I wanted it to remember that password, I hit "yes".  So now that password is wrong, and I've been too lazy to go in and change it in the browser.  However, when it told me it was wrong, I entered the correct password...also saving that one in the browser...and it works.  It sounds to me that that is the same thing happening to you.

To be sure, go into your browser settings and clear out all saved password information for mwior.com, clear cookies, then restart your browser and come back to the forums.  Then, carefully, enter in the correct username/password up top, and save that to your browser when it asks.  (You can also have it automagically log you in every time, but you probably knew that.)

Boonie, you are right and possibly not at the same time.
I think the explanation is in the script for this forum. I also get the log-in error consistently on all my computers even after clering out cache and all the good stuff. I implemented all updates they gave me and it still doens't work correctly. For the same reason I needed to get the extra security, such as word verification while singing up, off the site because the forum software is buggy...
Sorry guys, I'd like to get better software for the forum but in fear of loosing all posts for the second time I will have to ask you to just deal with this small inconvenience.

Gotcha.  Of all the bugs we could be having...that is very minimal!

Kasia - I also backed up the whole site/forum along with their respective databases when I got worried about what happened with the site.  (I was worried when the domain expired...the hosting also expired!)  So, if you ever want to try anything, let me know, and we can make sure it's all there to save our butts!

in fear of loosing all posts for the second time

I thought the original stuff was still around, just not easily transferable to the new forum.  Has it been lost completely. Huh?
